Ingredients
200g Very Ripe (Peeled) Bananas
250g All Purpose Flour + 1tsp Baking Soda + 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp Cinnamon Powder (Optional)
125g Brown/white Sugar
100g Butter or Margarine (Melted)
2 Large Eggs
1tsp Vanilla
120ml Whole Milk
150g Chocolate Chips or Any toppings of choice
Method
- Preheat your oven to 175°C
- Grease a standard loaf pan and line with parchment paper
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour,cinnamon ,baking soda and baking powder.
- Mash bananas in a bowl until smooth or lumpy (your preference)
- Beat the melted butter/margarine, sugar, eggs, and vanilla together
- Add the mashed banana and mix well.
- Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and fold gently and also add milk and mix until just combined (don’t overmix).
- Add your toppings (chocolate or nuts) if using any.
- Pour batter into your loaf pan and bake 40-50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 5minutes then transfer to a rack.
